First Family Vacation to Disney World

 

 

 

We took our first family vacation to Disney World last week and it was MAGICAL!  We had a minor set-back at the airport, when our plane had computer problems and we had to disembark for an hour and wait for the mechanics to replace the faulty part.  The girls couldn't have had better attitudes during this delay to the start of their Disney vacation. 

 

We started the morning with each of us using Spark Naturals essential oils Shield and Jeddy's Blend on the bottoms of our feet.  The Sheild, to help protect us from germs aboard the airplane and the Jeddy's Blend to keep everyone calm and anxiety free.  It  really helped!



While visiting the parks, whenever we were waiting in a line enjoying the warm and wet Florida climate, I would give everyone a quick spray on the back of the neck with some Liquid A/C, a blend that I found on my favorite blog for essential oil information,  Camp Wander.  We all enjoyed the cool "pick-me-up" from the spritz.  At the end of a long day of park-hopping, I would spray our faces and sun kissed arms with Rejuvinate, another Camp Wander creation. I would recommend these two sprays to anyone spending time out in the sunshine.

 

 

The third spray bottle that we had with us each day was my essential oil blend for bug spray. We were glad to have this with all of the mosquitoes buzzing around.

 

After much reading and combining many different "recipes", I came up with this blend:

 

Our trip was a great success and we can't wait to go back with all three of our children when the youngest is a little older.  I am happy that essential oils (and A LOT of planning) helped make the trip even better!
